Sales Account Executive
Home Services Industry Specialist

Helium SEO is seeking a B2B (business-to-business) Sales Account Executive with energy, passion, and initiative to build and expand our business within the home services industry. As a representative of a national, award-winning marketing agency, the ideal candidate will help launch Helium's market presence through consultative sales and business development specifically targeting home service companies (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, landscaping, etc.).

You are a good fit if you have a passion for sales, aren't afraid to make the calls, and want to reach six-figure financial success while working with home service businesses. This position can be in-office or remote, depending on location.

Role Responsibilities

  • Actively hunt for new business opportunities within the home services industry through email marketing, networking, attending tradeshows and events, warm calls, and managing generated leads within a CRM system (Hubspot)
  • Generate lead lists specifically targeting home service companies using Zoominfo, prospect using those lists, and close new customer deals
  • Identify opportunities to achieve corporate sales goals, objectives, and action plans in the home services vertical
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs 
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on our SEO, SEM, and CRO services tailored to home service businesses over the phone, in person, and via Zoom
  • Negotiate/close deals and handle objections 

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably selling digital marketing services to home service companies
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the home services industry and the specific digital marketing challenges these businesses face
  • Experienced with HubSpot and/or other CRM platforms
  • You are a highly skilled communicator and enjoy engaging with others, particularly home service business owners and decision-makers
  • You are extremely self-aware and continually strive to improve
  • You thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Preferred Background

  • Goal-oriented, with a verifiable track record of going beyond what's expected
  • Previous experience selling digital marketing services to home service businesses
  • Understanding of home service business operations, customer acquisition challenges, and industry-specific marketing needs
  • Highly organized, disciplined self-starter able to work remotely, independently, or with a team
  • The desire to expand your knowledge about the Digital Marketing industry
  • Consultative and solutions-oriented sales style with proven ability to effectively identify and sell to C-level executives, leveraging value and insight selling best practices
  • Consistently and successfully managing sales process with complex technology, deal, and pricing structures
  • Experience acting as a leader, personally or professionally
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but equivalent experience is acceptable

You will create and communicate successes for your clients, and when there are issues, you will deal with them tactfully and professionally. You will own your customer accounts completely through the sales process.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation includes a base salary and an uncapped commission program.

  • This position is hybrid (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in the office) for candidates within a one-hour commute to the zip code 45249. For those with a commute between 60-90 minutes, one day per week in the office is required. Candidates living beyond these distances may work fully remote, with the expected annual travel being less than 20%.
