Facebook Ads Specialist Job Description

Helium SEO is hiring a Facebook Ads Specialist to execute, optimize, and report on paid social and search campaigns. In this role, you will support multiple clients and manage simultaneous projects and deliverables across Meta's advertising ecosystem. This is a full-time opportunity.

Role Responsibilities

  • Conduct consumer and competitive research using AI-powered analytics tools to understand clients' landscape, target audience behaviors, and KPIs
  • Systematically track test scenarios, optimizations, and learnings using data visualization tools, sharing insights across the team
  • Translate noisy early performance signals into clear next actions (creative direction, budget allocation, optimization restraint vs. intervention).
  • Support client campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and emerging platforms as needed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to test innovative strategies for improving campaign performance against client objectives
  • Leverage Meta's Conversions API and server-side tracking for improved attribution and privacy compliance
  • Own creative testing strategy end-to-end (not create it up, provide direction), including hypothesis formation, test design, interpretation, and translating results into next creative iterations.

Preferred Background

  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience launching, optimizing, and measuring Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok Ads, and paid search campaigns
  • Agency experience (working with multiple clients)
  • Proficiency with Meta Ads Manager, Meta Business Suite, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, GA4 (Google Analytics 4), and Meta Pixel implementation
  • Experience with privacy-first tracking solutions and iOS 14.5+ attribution challenges
  • Familiarity with AI-powered campaign optimization tools and automation features (Advantage+, Performance Max)
  • Experience planning and executing paid social, SEM, content marketing, and local search campaigns
  • Strong background in audience research, campaign structure, creative testing, A/B experimentation, and conversion rate optimization
  • Knowledge of attribution modeling and multi-touch attribution platforms
  • Genuine passion for digital marketing innovation and staying current with platform updates and industry trends
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Self-starter who thrives with autonomy and minimal supervision
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality work with meticulous attention to detail

Required Skills

  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to prioritize competing deadlines while seeing projects through to completion
  • Strong analytical mindset with comfort in data analysis, pattern recognition, and applying insights to client campaigns
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts in fast-paced environments
  • Experience designing experiments, tracking performance metrics, and making data-driven decisions with statistical significance
  • Proactive learner who stays ahead of digital marketing trends, platform updates, and privacy regulations (iOS updates, cookie deprecation, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting campaign performance and strategic recommendations to clients

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
