Senior Paid Media Strategist - E-commerce

Helium is hiring a Senior Paid Media Strategist to own strategy and execution for some of our most complex e-commerce accounts across paid search and paid social. This is a senior individual contributor role with no direct reports - reporting to our Paid Media Team Lead.

What You'll Do

  • Own strategy and execution for a portfolio of ecommerce accounts, including complex, multi-line businesses (e.g., wholesale/B2B-style catalogs)
  • Run paid search as your core strength, with enough paid social depth to run it independently
  • Apply AI tools for bidding, optimization, and creative testing, and keep learning as they evolve
  • Lead client meetings as the strategic voice in the room — this isn't a background-execution role
  • Flag account risk early and partner with the Team Lead on QBRs

What You Bring

  • Deep, current e-commerce paid search expertise — this is the anchor requirement. Google Ads required, Microsoft Ads a plus
  • 3+ years hands-on paid media experience — enough to have a real foundation in e-commerce search, not just general exposure
  • Genuine client-facing polish: confident, capable of running client meetings solo, comfortable being the expert in the room
  • Ability to learn fast and perform in front of clients immediately — this role doesn't have a long ramp before client exposure starts
  • Strong working paid social skills (Meta required)
  • AI fluency in bidding/optimization/creative testing is a strong plus; if you're not there yet, genuine eagerness and speed to learn is the minimum bar
  • Currently and actively hands-on in the platforms today — not someone who's moved into oversight and lost the day-to-day edge

What You Bring

  • 3+ years hands-on paid media experience
  • Currently, actively hands-on in the platforms today, with a genuine want to stay that way even in a leadership seat
  • Agency experience strongly preferred
  • Confident and skilled in senior client-facing conversations

The perfect fit will embody our core values:

  • Extraordinary Service
  • Responsive Communication
  • Proactive Problem Solving
  • Under-promise and Over-deliver
  • Achieve the North Star

You recognize that personal and professional growth is a continuous process. You approach every task with dedication and intensity, always striving to be more efficient. You face challenges head-on, taking ownership, asking for help, and prioritizing the team's success.

Why Helium SEO?

  • Competitive salary
  • Comprehensive benefits package (up to 90% coverage for health, dental, vision, life)
  • Simple IRA with employer match
  • Unlimited paid time off after 90 days
  • Pet-friendly office for those in Cincinnati. Those not in the area will join our fully remote team.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 05/31/2026
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
