Sales Development Representative (SDR) Intern
Helium SEO is seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) Intern with an interest in both marketing and sales to join our team for Summer 2025. The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in a Professional Selling Program or related field, with a passion for business development. This position is based in Cincinnati, OH, and offers hands-on experience in B2B sales within the digital marketing industry.
This is a paid internship.
Role Responsibilities
- Promptly contact and qualify incoming leads through phone calls, emails, and other communication channels.
- Follow up with existing leads to schedule appointments with sales representatives.
- Maintain accurate records of all communications in our CRM system (Hubspot)
- Research potential clients within the home services industry
- Assist with lead generation activities and database management
- Support the sales team with administrative tasks as needed
- Participate in sales meetings and training sessions
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in a college or university, preferably in a Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Being part of a business organization in school such as a Professional Selling Program or DECA
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn
- Basic understanding of sales and marketing principles
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
Preferred Background
- Previous internship or work experience in a sales or customer service role
- Familiarity with CRM systems like Hubspot
- Interest in digital marketing and the home services industry
- Demonstrated leadership experience through campus organizations or previous roles
- Strong research and problem-solving abilities
