CRO & UX Specialist

As a CRO & UX Specialist, you will play a crucial role in optimizing user journeys and increasing conversion rates through effective landing page creation, site enhancements, and strategic UX/CRO implementations. You’ll collaborate closely with our SEO, Paid Media, and Creative teams to execute data-backed design updates and ensure our digital assets deliver results.

Helium SEO is located in Cincinnati, OH. We are open to hiring a contractor to work remotely from Argentina. 

Role expectations include:

  • Landing Page Development & Optimization
    • Design and build landing pages from scratch or using existing templates in WordPressUnbounce, and HubSpot.
    • Integrate CRM and lead forms using tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, Mailchimp, and native platforms.
    • Update and improve existing landing pages based on performance data and client needs, optimizing visuals, copy, and layout for conversions.
  • CRO Audits & Implementation
    • Conduct CRO audits using tools like Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, and Google Analytics.
    • Recommend and implement improvements based on heatmaps, behavior flow, and best practices.
    • Execute page redesigns focused on usability, mobile-first design, and performance metrics.
  • Conversion-Focused Creative Design
    • Create marketing assets such as banners, CTAs, and popups aligned with seasonal campaigns and evergreen offers.
    • Support ongoing A/B testing and multivariate testing initiatives across platforms.
  • Wireframing & UX Strategy
    • Collaborate with copywriters and strategists to wireframe new pages that balance brand storytelling and conversion.
    • Provide UX guidance to internal teams to ensure content and visual hierarchies align with user behavior and intent.

Required Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design, CRO, or a related role.
  • Proficient in WordPressUnbounce, and HubSpot landing page builders.
  • Strong understanding of CRM integrations and lead capture workflows.
  • Comfortable with HTML and CSS for basic layout adjustments and styling.
  • Experience using CRO tools like HotjarCrazy Egg, or VWO.
  • Ability to translate analytics into actionable design decisions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across creative and technical teams.
  • Familiarity with UX best practices, especially for mobile and responsive design.

Preferred Background

  • Experience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
  • Familiarity with Google Tag Manager and event tracking for CRO goals.
  • Background in digital marketing, especially SEO or paid ads.
  • Motion graphics or basic animation skills for dynamic CTAs and popups.

  • This 1099 position will start at about 20 hours per week
  • Work remotely from home
  • This position is a contract, and you will be responsible for setting your own schedule and invoicing us for the hours worked. This position is not eligible for benefits.
